holidaygift is on a distinguished road
Default Can I walk in Stafford, sugarland?

I will be in HOuston for a few days to take care of some business.

I need to go from Sun suites extended stay at 11620 Lebon St, Stafford, TX to social security administration at 10703 Stancliff Rd, Houston TX

I check the mapquest, here is the route:
1: Start out going WEST on LEBON LN toward S KIRKWOOD RD. 0.1 miMap
2: Turn RIGHT onto S KIRKWOOD RD. 1.1 miMap Avoid
3: Turn RIGHT onto W BELLFORT AVE. 0.8 miMap Avoid
4: Turn LEFT onto S WILCREST DR. 0.3 miMap Avoid
5: Turn RIGHT onto STANCLIFF RD. 0.1 miMap Avoid
6: End at 10703 Stancliff Rd Houston, TX 77099-4306 Map

The thing is I don't drive and I don't think there is any public transportation will take me there either. So my question is:is it possible /safe to walk from Sun suites to SSA?

I personally would not walk to that Social Security office location. Not a very walkable area. Can you take a cab?

W Bellfort @ Kirkwood?
W Bellfort @ Wilcrest?

That's a fairly rough part of town but not terrible. I think you'll be ok. There's a sidewalk down Bellfort at least, as that strip is mainly residential. Wilcrest and Stancliff should have sidewalks as well. There's also a grocery store on Wilcrest @ W. Bellfort if you need anything. I think it's called Food-A-Rama.
