What is bringing you to the Houston area?

It's all the same to some people.....and I guess it depends on what you call "jumpin!"

If you're a spicy Latina, yep, Houston is jumpin'! Pay no mind to the disgruntled curmudgeonly suburbanites who post on here. They rarely leave their house and don't know about Houston nightlife and stuff that's going on for young (and young at heart) people. There's actually a lot going on and you have the right attitude so you'll probably love it here. Welcome and good luck!

It's too damn hot for any "jumpin'" right now.

I'd think Spring & Tomball would be full of these so-called curmudgeons. Maybe even Alief. ![]() ![]() LatEna, here's a plug: If you're looking at burbs, you should check out the far SE side sometime- Clear Lake community (Houston side) and the waterfront areas & little resort towns like El Lago, Seabrook and Kemah. There are plenty of things going on, unique eateries, shops, etc w/o the snarky, (inner-loop) 'tudes you may have seen here in other topics. Not sure of your age, but it seems to cater to the 30 or 40-something crowd. Those who can afford their own suburban space but still know how to enjoy life outside of the comfortable confines. Just a thought. |
