I lived in midtown and commuted daily to Bush airport. About 25 minutes each way...easy commute. Midtown has a number of places to eat and go out. I wish they had more cabs though. Houston is a very affordable city to live, especially compared to where your at.

Thanks for all the imput everyone. So I just accepted the job in the Greenspoint area and will be moving to Houston in 2 weeks. The company will be arranging 30 days of a corporate apartment for me so I still have plenty of time to find the right place to live. When I visited, I spent a day looking at most of the apartment complexes in Midtown. The two that I liked the most were Camden City Centre and Metro Midtown. Does anyone have any advice on these complexes? Thanks again for all your help. I am looking forward to living in Houston.

I've got an acquaintance living in the Metro Midtown right now and is working Greenspoint for the summer. When last I checked she was liking the apartment complex.

I don't know anyone who lives in the Camden City Center, but I do like that management company. I live in a Camden in Austin and will probably either live in the Camden Midtown or City Center when I move.

I'm not sure if that has been of any use to you but I hope it helps!
