Memorial/West Memorial
1) Are these cities, suburbs, or neighborhoods in Houston?
2) Is there a city center that is walkable and from what neighborhoods?
3) Any areas to avoid?

Western Memorial are neighborhoods in an urban-suburb setting. It is Houston, not a master planned community. The homes are 40 years old and the neighborhoods are mature and established. Primarily known to house excutives for the Energy Corridor and downtown. A CityCentre is being built within 1 mile of all neighborhoods east of Kirkwood. There is already a Town and Country Village that has everything you need. A mall within 2 miles. It is walkable, however weather keeps people from doing that. In Houston you need a car. Tons of children and some of the best school in the Houston Metro region.
Avoid areas around Tully stadium. The school district changes west of Eldridge.
Actual Memorial in 77024, is not walkable to anything and will run you 800k-10 million. They are Village cities within Houston with their own police and services.

Thank you for your response. Do you know the intersections for the current Town and Country Village and also for the proposed Town Center?
Does anyone have any pictures they would be willing to share?

There's a lot of Memorial between the Beltway and Highway 6. Closer to Dairy Ashford there may not be a town center, but there's most everything you need close by. I found it interesting how much house prices have gone up around there the last few years. I wish that was true of Ashford. Gaywood/wilchester Pines, Houston, TX
