Default New Pershing Middle School campus to open on Wed - former campus to be demolished

The Houston Chronicle has an article about this: http://search.chron.com/chronicle/op...&selectedPath=

The new Pershing Middle School campus will open on Wednesday, January 17, 2006. Pershing, a Houston ISD school, serves the cities of Southside Place, West University Place, and Bellaire as well as sections of Houston around the areas, such as Braeswood Place, Southgate, Old Braeswood, Westwood, and a sliver of Meyerland.

The kids were allowed to tag the old 1948 campus with graffiti (such as "Name" was here).
