I am in the market for a Ford repair shop to take a look at a “check engine” light.

Anyone know a reputable Ford mechanic (preferably close to the medical center area)?

Thanks in advance.

Try Sal's Auto on Westheimer/Chimney Rock, just outside the Galleria. They work on all cars.

Trying to get your State Inspection up to date, eh?This is such a sham. Forget about actual emissions, is your check engine light on?I know for a fact that my car would be a complete FAILURE in an actual emissions test but it passes with flying colors due to the check engine light. The dealer will have extensive experience with this and is probably slightly less likely to try and rob you with un-necessary maintenance (although more likely to rob you with obscenely expensive labor).
