In general AISD is crap..no need to go into detail. nothing on the school you asked about, is it new?

yes, it is new. I don't think as a first year teacher, I can be picky. I can only hope to weed out the bad to worse.

steer clear of that place if you don't want to be assaulted by students (both verbally and physically). Take it from me--I was hurt physically by a student--the principal refused to do anything about it.But why would she? She allowed a young man that was a known gang member curse her and push her--she just smiled

I worked in Aldine and was afraid several times. We had a gun lockdown,many fights and several incidents that I thought were handled terribly by the administration. One aid left the room and a student alone intentionally to have her beat up. She wasnt even reprimanded!
However, they are very strict on acheivment and making progress on the TAKS.
