Default Any thoughts on the Spring Trails community?

My mom is looking to relocate to Houston, and I've been researching various communities for her. She loves the Woodlands, but it is a bit out of her price range, so we are looking for nice options nearby.

Spring Trails seemed like a great compromise for price/proximity, but I don't know anything about this area of Houston. Can anyone who has lived in Spring Trails provide some feedback on the area from their experience?

Are there any issues with this area in terms of flooding?

Cathleen is on a distinguished road
Spring Trails is so close to The Woodlands it might as well be part of it. It's just on the other side of the highway. I have friends living there and they love it. It's a quiet suburban community close to all the ammenities. There are many established and new subdivisions just east of Spring Trails. Go to www.har.com and look in the 77386 zip code. Within this zip code, Imperial Oaks is an established neighborhood, Legends Ranch is new (gated with security guards posted at entrance), KB Homes has a development with prices starting under $100k. There are many others as well. I haven't heard of any flooding problems in these areas, but a realtor can look up any property/area and give you that information (I know a terrific one that specializes in this area. If you want her info write me back).
