Work at Baytown, where to live?
My job is at Baytown. I really need some advice on where to live. I am looking for something in the 250K to 300K range.

Clear Lake is about 30 minutes away. Houston Zips 77062 and 77059. You can also look at the southeastern part of Pasadena along Space Center Blvd, close to Clear Lake.
Some people here have suggested Deer Park even though it's a stone's throw from the refineries. That will be even closer.

Deer Park, Clear Lake, and South Pasadena like T-stone said. If you like it a bit more rural (you did not say what you wanted), I would suggest Crosby or Mont Belview area.

I would prefer convenience with grocery, shopping, and dinning places around.

Any of the places shown above would be great for you and have all that convenience that you are looking for.
