Hi,

I'm looking for a good, female, general practice doctor inside the loop (preferably near Midtown/Rice U).

Don't want to just pick a random name from a list of providers, so I'm hoping I can get a good recommendation here!

Thanks!

Any particular reason for recommending her?

Are there any other recommendations from others?

Thanks!

I can't recommend anyone in the Med center because they only way you can get me down there is if I REALLY need to be down there. Too much chaos for me.

I go to Dr. Matocha, just outside the loop at the Houstonian. He's been my GP for 20 years. Great GP and Sports Medicine specialist. I've needed a lot of sports medicine over the years.. <sigh>

I see the (very highly respected in the med center), male dr. (Berkman) that is in practice with Dr. Esper and have several female friends who see dr. Esper because they wanted a female and they absolutely love her. Said she spends a great deal of time with you and really listens and works to resolve any issues you have. If my dr. ever retires, it'll be an easy move to Dr. Esper with what I have heard from everyone.
