Oakwood Forest is a great place to live. A gated subdivision, it has a swimming pool and tennis courts. There are brick homes with wood burning fireplaces that would easily sell for at least twice as much if they were located in other areas of town where housing is more expensive. There is excellant shopping and good restraurants within a mile. Type har.com into your browser (Houston Association of Realtors website). Then under street name type in Oakwood Trace and you will see a listing for a great house listed at $165,000.00, but according to her agent the seller (a woman) will entertain offers. I know she is anxious to sell it because a potential buyer asked her to do certain things, which she did, and then he started demanding that she do more things. She and her agent got tired of dealing with him. I personally cannot believe this house is still on the market. There are other houses for sale in the subdivision, but I think this one is especially nice for the price. Bright, open and airy, 2,876 square foot, 3 bedrooms, with masterbedroom on first floor. Nice kitchen, 2 car attached garage, 2 1/2 baths. We almost bought it as an investment to use as a rent house. I have no interest in the house, just responding to your inquiry. Go to har.com and there is a gallary of photos in the listing, so you can see what the outside and inside look like.
