Question Building a home - need temporary housing

I've gotten so much help from this forum on find a home, movers, water softeners, etc., that I'd like to ask about something else:

We're building a home in Grand Harbor that will be ready in late October/ early November. We are currently selling our condo, and need to find temporary housing (approx. 2 mos.) that's reasonable, for DH and me. We'd like to stay on the west side, west of Hwy 6/I-10, if possible.

Any suggestions?

Go to craigslist and look for sublets or short term leases. There are also some apartments that offer short term. You just need to ask around.

And don't limit yourself to just the 2 months. I speak from expeirence...Our 2 months turned to 4 months. So very many things can go wrong and not always at the fault of the builder.
