Go to court and you might get lucky. The cop may not come to court! Also check the ticket for mistakes like date or time. If nothing works take def. driving!

from your experiences, do the cops show up most of the time in court? i guess the safe way is to go there and if the cop doesn't show up, plead not guilty, if he shows up, just plead guilty and take the defensive driving?

Good news and bad news. The Texas legislature passed a law (HB 922) prohibiting municipalities from implementing automated traffic control systems such as speed cameras on highways. But the law applies only to municipalities, and TxDOT has plans to implement them using federal funds.

A lot of the beltway feeder speed limits are 55. But yeah if it was just an advisory sign you're not obligated to follow it.

Just do online defensive driving. You may have a case but is it worth the time and effort trying to convince a judge the cop is lying?

There was another one that had someone else pulled over also. They were working the area non-stop, just one ticket after the next. This seems like entrapment since you are coming off of the freeway, they know you are going to be doing a decent speed. Should I fight or pay?
The posted speed is the posted speed limit for a reason. You can try to fight it but saying I was coming off the freeway is not a good defense. It's not like the speed limit went from 75 mph to 35 in 10 feet you had a off ramp to slow down on.
