I have friends in Clear Lake near beltway 8 who are looking for more gasoline for a generator. Does anyone know of any open gas stations that have fuel? Thanks for any quick replies!

Looks like no flights until Monday. I guess we got lucky we had power since about 10AM probably because we are close to the Methodist hospital Sugar Land.

Well, I am heading to the airport in a few hours and I do hope I will be able to leave unless I'm stuck for at least 24 hours at the airport.

EDIT:

CRAP! Did cancel flight now I fly from Frankfurt, Germany to Chicago and then somehow to Houston with American Airlines. ugh

Power back on in Cinco Ranch! Lost it for about 20 hours or so? House held up great, better than some neighbors. One window screen popped out but neighbors lost lots of shingles, trees, fences...whew boy scary night.

Anyone know if any Wal Marts are open near La Marque/Clear Lake/even Hobby area (and is 45 open all the way - no debris or anything closing parts)? Mother-in-law left her meds in Galveston - they stayed in La Marque - I think she only has one or 2 pills left and has scrip filled before at Wal Mart... Not sure when they will be able to get back on the island.
