Here is a link to a resource for the Texas Medical Board to check out potential or current doctors. I found that a surgeon I have used a couple of times has been disciplined TWICE for poor patient after-care. Can be a great resource in finding a doc. Once you click on the link, click on services for consumers on the left side.

Check your insurer's provider directory. If it's like mine (Aetna), you can rate your doctor, hospital and other providers and also view the overall rating results for each. I think a provider has to be rated by at least 5 different patients before you can view the results, but I have found this helpful.

Dr. Bahkt on Fondren is great. He himself has called me just to ck up. They are real good about call backs & staff is friendly.
For children Dr. Dangziner also on Fondren great with my boys & patient with them when they are bouncing around or crying.
Allergist I have Dr. Amin Mery great dr. & great staff.
Children's dds Dr. Febres. Her ofc is like a jungle & tv screens everywhere even on the ceiling. My boys love it.
Endo is Dr. Tung very nice but always in a hurry. Nice staff good with call back.
Adult DDs Dr. Yarbrough Ashy. Nice, fast, friendly staff.
