I'll give you a hint... it's about a 500:1 ratio.
Plus I read somewhere that for every "white" gang member, there are 1000 minority gang members, even though whites comprise over 60% of the U.S. population.
As far as Texas is concerned, there are more minority gang members just in Houston then there are white gang members in the entire state.
Read the book; The Color of Crime by Dr. Jared Taylor.
Sorry to inject some reality into this topic.
So if you say there are 1000 minority gang members for every white one and the murder ratio is 500:1, are you saying that white gang members are twice as likely to murder as minorities?
Your numbers, not mine.

kyao33 is on a distinguished road
Without checking out this little town, 5 years ago, my family moved to Bacliff, to a new subdivision, because the taxes were low. HAHA!!! This was the worst move we have made. After speaking to several people in the neighborhood we found that there was no violence in our neighborhood. As the years went on, this changed. My car as well as many others, have been broken into. Several homes have been robbed, kids have even come into the neighborhood with their trusty little cans of spray paint to wreak havoc. As with other places, there are some good people in Bacliff. They have just been over run by the bad. No one wants to hear about those good people. The ones that were here 20, 30 and even 40 years. One of our fine police officers lived here until she passed away last year.
And its not just the gangs that make this town such a bad place. There are a couple if not more< bad cops in Galveston County that contribute to the delinquency of these thugs. Hmm, could that get me into trouble by saying that? Maybe. But, truthfully, I think the dopers and gang members are safer than the rest of us are. Thanks for letting me rant.

Well - it was known as a "fishing town with a drinking problem" (as are many waterfront communities - but it is real in this one) for years before you moved there. Druggies like it as well as the wealthy who want to live on the water. Spouse had two employees (in separate accidents.....) get hit by drunk drivers back there. It's just an odd area - extreme wealth to extreme poverty - drugs, alcohol, etc. If you seriously look at Baycliff and San Leon - they both look like areas where someone could move and get lost from the world ....... hide-away so to speak.

Bacliff/San Leon . . . Oh, the stories I could tell. It is hard to describe without visiting the area. I hate to use the word "White Trash" but just about everyone in Clear Lake, Houston, and everywhere else does, therefore if the shoe fits . . .

Some time in the distant future, maybe Stardate 2076, this area will become a mecca for rich folks with big expensive houses living on the Bay. I mean all along the Bay--not just in isolated instances like now. I know it will happen someday, but not in my lifetime. Then the "WT" will be forced out and will probably move to La Marque and Texas City where their presence will make no noticeable difference whatsoever.
