Bacliff, an unincorporated area in Galveston County, has rural poverty and White gangs that terrorize nearby areas.

OK... do you want to compare the number murders committed nationwide by minority gangs every year compared to the number of murders committed by white gangs?
I'll give you a hint... it's about a 500:1 ratio.
Plus I read somewhere that for every "white" gang member, there are 1000 minority gang members, even though whites comprise over 60% of the U.S. population.
As far as Texas is concerned, there are more minority gang members just in Houston then there are white gang members in the entire state.

Well, 1. That is because there are a lot more minority gangs than White gangs in Texas (especially when you subtract White racist gangs and biker gangs from the White gangs total) - and 2. The city has a more "competitive" drug market and higher police presence than rural areas.

Good article, i've actually dealt with a few of the guys mentioned in the first page about 10-12 years ago. I threw a keg party and I confronted one of them (Ricky) for not having a cup that everyone was getting for pitching in on the beer. He then ran off and came back with about four carloads of guys. Ended up, the front guy (Jason Ruppert) pushed my girlfriend down leading me to run around the crowd (30+) and hitting him. That started a big rumble of coarse. Soon after they all fled, next morning while picking up the yard I found pipe, bats, golf clubs, etc. Found out later, that Jason recieved a broken arm, another got 44 stitches in the top of his head due to a trailer tie down. And then found that the whole thing was meant to be a distraction so a couple guys could still one of the kegs. Bad idea I guess.

I lived in Bacliff till 4th grade, then I moved to a neighboring neighborhood Bayview (different School district), still Bacliff but not so ghetto. Then I moved in with my girlfriend and her Mom in San Leon.(next neighborhood over) which is where the rumble happend in '98.

Looks like they continued with there bad ways!

A couple of the others listed are known for a Local Rap Group. TPT (Trailer Park Trash)

Bacliff is now probably under water due to Ike.

I now live about 35miles away in Pearland.

I was one of the normal guys around town not involved in gangs, etc.
