Hi all:

We are relocating to the Houston area. We initially looked in the Pearland area and found some homes we liked, however, because of work location, we have determined the Humble area would be a better fit. I mentioned to some friends of mine that live in Houston that we were considering Park Lakes. They said that the subdivision looked nice from the street, but told us to be mindful that parts of the Beltway near Humble experience flooding. This subdivision appears to be located along the Beltway near its intersection with Hwy 59. Does anyone have any knowledge of this area flooding? Thanks so much for your help!

I live across the beltway from Park Lakes in Fall Creek and I have never seen any flooding over there, or in Fall Creek. Even with the hurricane, we had no standing water in either area. I will admit that I haven't actually driven around the neighborhoods in Park Lakes, but still, from what I can see, there have been no flood issues. I will say that on the feeder roads around the beltway 8 and hwy 59, there has been some flooding. It usually goes down within hours of the rain stopping.
