Default The Woodlands/Spring swim lessons

Hello..can anyone help me out? I am looking for swimming lessons for my 3 yr. old son. We live in Spring just south of The Woodlands. When we moved here the waiting lists were already filled up for preschool, so I really want him to get involved in something. He really loves to swim, so I thought maybe there was a year round swim program he could get into. Thanks.

Try Sea Sports Scuba, on the 45 southbound feeder just north of Rayford/Sawdust.

Thanks alot. I called them and am going to check them out today. In case anyone else is interested in swimming lessons.. a FINS swimming facility opened in the Woodlands, but is priced $11 more per half hour session than Sea Sports Scuba!!!

I would like to get my kids (2 and 3.5 y/o) into swim lessons, too, but haven't looked into it yet. I was thinking of checking with the local YMCA. Any feedback on their options?

It is usually "you get what you pay for'...YMCA lessons are very inexpensive but the kids don't really learn much to be honest. FINS is highly recommended and yes, it is more expensive.

The Woodlans FINS is the way to go..

my Daughter swims with the WAC over at the new nanatorium thingy, its very very nice. and she is making great progress.

she kicked butt during the summer swimming with the conroe "Y", which I highly reccommend. when she moved over to the WAC the quality of coaching and the swim program is night & day. Rated in the top ten in the USA.

We have heard great recommendations for The Woodlands FIN. We plan to let our kids take lessons there as well.

What is the WAC? I assume it's an aquatic center, but where is it located? Is it related to FINS?

Woodlands Athletic Center.
its in the middle of the woodlands, BUT it will soon be closing, the new compex is replacing it.
the swimming started at the WAC but is transitioning to the new center.
sorry for the confusion.
