I think that this is the main reason why America is in the state that it is in now...can we just forget about Republicans, Democrats, Liberals, Conservatives, etc. What happened to let's elect the person who is best for the job, and regardless of who we feel is to blame for the mess we are in, (be it Bush or a Democratic Congress) let's band together for the person we feel is going to turn this sh*t around. The problem is we have ppl "voting" based on tradition..."Oh I've always voted Republican/Democrat so let me stick to it, even if the person is an idiot!" This is absurd!!! I can identify with each party, I don't believe in hand-outs for welfare mommies that are sucking the middle class dry, while on the other hand, I don't favor making millionaires "BILLIONAIRES". I just believe that we as voters need to look at the issues and the current state of our economy...this war has cost trillions and for what?? If anything this is the time when we should be coming together as a ppl regardless of party, social class, race, etc. I don't know, maybe I'm being too much of a dreamer...I just thought this was America, land of possibilities...

I didn't respond to the poll because I'm in Sugar Land, but I'm voting for Obama, not because he's my dream candidate but because I think McCain/Palin is one of the scariest political partnerships of all time.

So far in my neighborhood I haven't seen any Obama signs and I don't expect to see many.

Ditto, on another note I'll have my Obama sign up (in my lawn) by the end of the week

I want to know how come I see ZERO lawn signs anywhere in Cinco Ranch? I checked the POA rules and they are allowed, I'm thinking people are just so used to the manicured, conformed lawn look that nobody wants to mess that up with a sign. My best friend in PA offered to mail me a McCain/Palin sign but I don't want to be the only one in my whole community with any kinda sign up!
