Choosing a pediatrician?
My family and I have just relocated from out of state. Can anyone recommend a pediatrician in The Woodlands or surrounding area? My younger daughter has some medical concerns so ideally I'd like to find a female doctor who has privileges at Tx Children's Hospital.
Thanks!
Kelly

I'm not sure if Dr. Caldwell has privileges at TCH, but she's supposedly a REALLY good dr. up there. She's at the Sadler Clinic in Conroe. She's not a "pedi" per se, but she deals with a LOT of children because of her diet/allergy treatments, and she uses the DAN protocol with kids who have autism. My best friend takes her daughter there and she lives in Spring. She always has good things to say about her.

I use Joan Purcell for my kids at STEP Pediatrics...she's the best pediatrician I've had. We moved around alot so I've had quite a few. She doesn't rush you in and out, in fact, my husband thought the check-up was too long.

Just had this discussion w/ my wife... but... I never had a "pediatrician" when I was a kid. In our town, we had doctors. Why do you need a separate doctor for kids? Sick is sick, right?
