I would have to say the South West side just outside the loop inside 59. The areas around Meyer Land & Bellaire are nice with nice shops are a good amount of resturants to chose from. Try to say away from aparment ares that are closer to 59 there is higher crime rate in these areas, if you stay closer to the loop you should have no problems.
