I saw a listing for a huge job fair that is coming up this summer--every school district (including charter schools) will be there. look under the Region 4 website for details. (theansweris4.org or com).

What's the skinny on teaching vocational subjects in the schools in Texas? Does one have to have a teaching degree? I used to teach part time in South Florida [HVACR] and only had to have verfiable trade experience and a background check. As hot as Houston gets, I would think the demand for HVAC instructors would be good.
