Default Madonna's Houston Performance - any reviews, comments?

Okay saw Madonna last night. Found parking right by Minute Maid Park for only $7

She made people wait 2 hours before she decided to grace them with her presence. Ticket time 7:30 and actual time was after 9:30. No encore.

She did put on a high-paced, energetic show. The most interesting mix of people I have ever seen at an event (after all everyone had 2+ hours to do nothing but people watch). The 20-somethings dressing like an 80's Madonna - okay acceptable. 40+ dressing like an 80's Madonna - not a good look. Valuable style points lost there.

She is ripped but amazingly thin. She struck me as almost anorexic with muscles. Her face looks older than 50 but not from lines but from what appears to be being too lean. She is energetic, capable of dazzling an audience and in great physical condition based on her performance. Heard rumblings thought that everone who worked behind the scenes was given order to "not be caught looking at her" that was her orders. That of course is a rumor I heard and not known truth - anyone work backstage?

And yeah, I don't mind admiting that I went to Madonna. I see a lot of people from all genres.

Uh, I only like old Madonna songs maybe 83 to 94 ones. She ain't a good act to me unless she sings her old tunes!

Don't be fooled, her tight skin on her face is the result of a surgeon's work. She gets no credit there from me.

Really her best album is Ray of Light - 1998. Great all the way through. She does have talent.

I went also and didn't care for it. She played the guitar way to much! I didn't even know she played it. I would not spend my money to see it again. She needed to play more of her old songs, the ones that made her where she is today. I was very disappointed.

I have not seen her in concert, but I was not impressed with her latest album cover...she looks way scarey!!!!! Plus after her comments about Palin not being welcome at her concerts, she just disgusts me now. Lover her when I was growing up in the 80's..but now I don't care for her..even her old stuff.

Yes, I had to laugh when I heard she said John McCain was out of touch. Hello? You're practically the same age, Madge. *snicker* The one person in that equation that is out of touch is not, uh, John McCain. Most of us can't even begin to fathom her lifestyle, and I doubt she'd be much interested in mine. Talk about out of touch.

If you ask me, anyone who cares that much about a celebrity's political views is out of touch.

Yes I was really glad she didn't make any political comments because I don't pay to hear a performer or actor's comments - I am there to see their talent, not the comments in their mind. The only thing political was one song accompanied by a lot of images flashing in the background and the final flashing image was Barack. No political talk though - only a those flashing images.
