Housing hunting now, and got headche by so many community names and trying to figure out their location. Does anybody happen to have a Houstaon community/subdivision map or something like that?

Also, I am into Highland homes. I found they build at Firethorne with very reasonable price comparing with those in Cinco Ranch. Does anyone have any input regarding Firethorne? How farther west is it from CR?

Thank you!

Try HAR.com At the bottom of the home page there is a "Neighborhoods" link. Enter the name of the subdivision or zip code. After you have that open, click on the tabs across the top, just above the neighborhood name. It has neighborhood stats, schools, and maps. Hope this helps you.

If you think Firethorne is a deal - the same Highland models are even cheaper in Bridgeland!

Firethorne is not "much" farther west than Cinco. The reason we avoided it is because it is zoned to Katy HS, whereas we wanted to be zoned to either Cinco Ranch HS or Seven Lakes HS. We love Cinco. Also we wanted a built-out neighborhood.

My daughter is only 3yr old, so HS is not within my consideration. Other than this, is Firethorne a good choice?

Firethorne is a nice community and is a master planned development.

My bad - I didn't get that from your original post. Eventually, as Bridgeland gets bigger, the westernmost houses will be in Katy ISD, but you aren't wanting to wait until 2020, I assume.
