I've passed by the one on Eldridge but have never been. Always looking for some good pho.

One thing I never do is a Chinese buffet. A complete non-starter. That's on the level of putting ketchup on a steak to me.

RPEP09 -
If you are ever heading down I-45 south, exit Scarsdale and head West (r)- on the left there are several Vietnamese joints in the shopping strips that make good PHO.
My daughter swears this stuff is the only thing that breaks up her colds. Good stuff!

Good pho and cheap Vietnamese sandwiches at Cali Sandwich. They put some hot sauce on those things that is hardcore, and I've got a good tolerance for spice.

Have you tried Nick's Italian Restaurant out in the sticks of outer Sugar Land? My Italian husband thought it was better than expected.

Why is that? I've had excellent food at many Chinese buffets. Just because it's being mass produced, so to speak, doesn't necessarily mean the quality is less.
