Default Favorite Restaurant(s) in Houston

What are your favorite restaurants in Houston?
You can say by food type (Greek, Thai, Indian, Tex-Mex, etc.) or by price range (budget, moderate, pricey) or part of the city (Galleria, Heights, Montrose, suburb). Maybe we can all learn about some new places to try out and have some fun in the process.

Tex-Mex: Teala's on W. Dallas
Indian: Shiva in Rice Village
Budget: Barnaby's on W. Gray
Moderate: Feast on Westheimer
Sushi: Osaka on Westheimer
Fusion: Gravitas on Taft
Greek: Chatter's on Waugh
Burger: Lankford Grocery Midtown
Pricey (ish): tie: Ibiza in Midtown, Catalan on Washington
Thai: Golden Room on Montrose
BYOB: Lucio's on Taft
Cafe: Tart Cafe on Montrose
Eclectic: Hobbit Cafe on Richmond
Italian: Sorrento on Westheimer
Lebanese: Aladdin on Montrose
Pizza: Star Pizza on Washington
Brunch: Babi Yega's in the Montrose
Breakfast: Empire Cafe on Westheimer
Cajun: Crescent City Cafe on Westheimer/BB's on Montrose

Meditteranean: Wael's (Clear Lake)

Mexican: Taqueria Del Sol (SE side 45/610)

Great pizza in the Medical Center was The Pisa Pie, but not sure if it's there anymore.

I have to throw in the local chain Timmy Chan for $4, greasy Chinese-American fast food. Found exclusively in hoods near you.

Chinese-Teacup Cafe Beltway 8 Beechnut
Vietnamese-Noodle House Sugar Land/Eldridge Rd. (and I have tried a LOT of places)
Pricey-Any ideas would be great, I have found Houston to be a good overall restaurant town but not a 5 star restaurant kind of town
Pizza-Star (either location)

Italian-yet to find a good authentic place. Maggiano's is the best we have found, which is kind of a sad testament.
And Tex-Mex/Mexican there are just way too many to mention. Probably would be better to list the bad ones!

Pisa Pie is still around but it's now inside a gas station.

Star Pizza is overrated and overpriced....
