I'd also like to see less gated communities. I have never seen so many gated properties and communities in my life!

- Northwest to Prarie View
- North to Spring, Tomball, Conroe
- Northeast to Humble, Crosby, Liberty
- East to Baytown, Anahuac
- Southeast to Galveston
- Southwest to Sugarland, Rosenberg
- West to Katy
3. TX-99 completed
4. The northeast portion of the beltway converted to toll (at least get rid of the lights)
5. No lights on TX-249 all the way to Magnolia
6. More entertainment spots lining Galveston Bay
7. Buffalo Bayou converted to a riverwalk similar to New Orleans and San Antonio, complete with clubs, restaurants, bars, etc.
8. More entertainment spots downtown
9. High-Speed rail from Houston - Dallas; Houston - San Antonio, and Houston - Golden Triangle area
10. Casinos in Galveston
11. The Astrodome converted to a mega shopping/hotel/entertainment complex, which would be the centerpiece of Reliant Park Plaza
12. Our theme park back
13. MORE annexation, at least have the city limits extend past the beltway, 1960 and highway 6.

Man, you've got this thing completely mapped out. Good vision!

I don't think anyone will ever accuse me of being pro mass transit but I couldn't disagree more. Regardless of perception, thousands of cars use the HOV lanes daily and with the higher occupancy ratio the lane throughput is as much as the crowded freeway lanes. 24 million people used the HOV lanes last year, just on Metro commuter buses.

I think the best way to improve the city is to set more modest goals that can actually be achieved rather than pie in the sky goals that will never happen, but if it's just for fun then I'll play along.
- less illegals and elimination of "sanctuary city" status
- two cops per patrol car, or at least cop and dog
- annexation to "square up" the boundaries and fill the voids left from the city "cherry picking" in the past
- alternatively, deannexation
- traffic light synchronization
- parking garages at Reliant, Toyota, and other locations with a direct ramp entrance/exit to the adjacent freeway

No more light rail (unless it is elevated and away from vehicular and pedestrian traffic).

Yeah - great how the mayor allowed this to happen to our city and got his 15 minutes of fame in order to see if he could advance his political aspirations and abandon the city.
