I've done more than a reasonable person should do in a new city to acclimate him/her-self. I came here with an open mind and worked my ass off. The "complaints" I noted don't speak to my character. It speaks to Houston.

The best thing that can happen to H-town is a nuclear explosion.

Absolutely Worldlyman! Where else can you get a place like the Halal Wok Chinese restaurant (off of Hillcroft)?

You said Houston was greedy, ignorant, undiverse, and stupid Those things do not explain Houston and even a person who despises Houston will admit those things don't match with Houston. Houston is diverse, intergrated, laid-back, and home to NASA,TMC, and full of scientist and researchers....but were stupid????

yellowmenace,
i can see where you're coming from. i've noticed alot of the things you said about houston. however, you gotta adapt brother! you can't beat the cost of living and availability of jobs man! fat city or not, the restaurants here are accessible and pretty darn good. if people don't want to work out after eating king kong portions, that's their problem.
