Default Commute to Woodlands question

Is there a express bus service from Katy to woodlands?

If I move to katy it will be more than 50 miles to my work.

Is driving my car is the only option?

Thanks

You have the park and ride system.

Check The District Park & Rides

Katy is not a destination route for The Woodlands Express (The Woodlands Park & Ride System). The car would be the most realistic option, even then you WILL spend a LOT of time in your car each day. If your work is in the Woodlands, you will want to live in or near the Woodlands, period, NOT Katy. There are many options in The Woodlands surrounding area (The Woodlands, Conroe, Spring, Klein, etc.).

I agree, if you are working in the Woodlands you do NOT want to live in Katy.
1. There is no direct route from Woodlands to Katy
2. Indirect routes may lead to a 2 hour commute
3. Freeway routes aren't any better
4. There is plenty of comparable housing in or near the Woodlands.
5. From a personal perspective, I like the trees in the Woodlands as opposed to the coastal prairie in Katy.
I would think very hard before I moved to Katy, if I were working in the Woodlands.
