Default Clear Creek or Friendswood ?

Looking at moving from Memorial (SBISD) to the Clear Lake area. Is there any significant reason to choose one (Clear Creek or Friendswood) over the other?

The main difference is they're on different sides of the gulf freeway. Clear Lake is closer to the water, on the north side. Friendswood feels a bit more tucked away, although it's not that far from the gulf freeway on the south side. Both are nice areas, but in Friendswood you are not as conscious of the water as you are in Clear Lake.
