I want a reason to wear my winter clothing. Yes I might have on a jacket, but I am probably wearing a sleeveless shirt or even a tank top underneath.

The beauty in cold weather is wearing wool, leather, corduroy and heavy shoes and even velvet.

I would love to walk to the mail box an blow my breath just to see the steam. I miss condensation on the windows and ice covered car windows. I want to pick pecans and rub my hands together in anticipation of drinking warm liquids once I return home.

Don't get me wrong, today is beautiful.....but I am just a little homesick and missing my kind of of NW Georgia cold weather, which is not even cold compared to Northern climates or even Tennessee.

I like how everyone else talks about how much colder it is everywhere other than Texas. Who cares, I personaly like Texas because I like heat, and tan lines...lol. I think it's too cold in the winters here though when you mix in the humidity. Anything below 78 or so and I start having to bundle up. I think it might be time for me to move further south!!

The temperature itself I don't have a problem with, but I can do without the wind.

Sometimes it seems like the wind never stops blowing here, hot or cold. People say it's because it's so flat but I dunno.

I thought it was going to be much colder today which bummed me out because I was doing a maternity photo shoot and wanted to do some outdoor stuff...well my client is from Pennsylvania like me and she said "This? This isn't cold! This is like a nice fall day in PA." So we did our outdoor shots, exposed belly and all.

I live in DC now. We didn't leave the teens today. We started out at 8 degrees today and the winds were gusting at 10-15 mph making it feel like -3 all day long. Tonight it will get back to the single digits. This is the coldest it's been in YEARS here in this area. I been here since 2005 and it's never been this cold. Right now, it's 10 degrees here. Tomorrow, the high will be 22. I LOVE IT.
