I am finally relocating to Houston for a new job.
I may have to start working as son as Feb 2nd, 2009.

Are there any nice apts near W Sam Houston Pkwy S, Houston, TX 77099? Nice, Safe area, Not too expensive

I may stay at a Motel 6 for the first 2 or 3 days, but an apartment should be a lot less expensive if I am renting on a monthly basis. I would like the closest to work, since I will be getting off late at nights most of the time.

Will appreciate any help.

Do not stay on the SE part of Houston. It is very dangerous. I would look into Sugarland or even the Galleria area. Maybe even the Greenway Plaza..there are a lot of affordable hotels.
