Default Is this clinic still there?

The clinic was founded by Memorial Southwest Hospital (just across the freeway in case you need more complex tests or treatment) to alleviate pressure on the emergency room for minor emergencies and for the un-insured for all sorts of routine checkups and treatment. I have insurance but my deductable is only $15 more than there full fee ($40) and follow-ups on an initial diagnosis are were only $10 for my serious problem (the spider bite). I've gone to them several instances when I got sick or hurt on weekends and didn't want to wait to get an appointment for the following week. Good luck!
Just wandering if this clinic is still there and if you have a phone #...Just started new job, need to go to doctor but no insurance yet. Thanks in advance for your time!

Ok. I really really really need help. I'm glad I've come across this thread. I'm a college kid whose medical/health insurance has run out. I have bad sinus/allergy problems, and now, my upper spinal region is hurting as if I was bruised. Could somebody please tell me about any FREE medical insurance that I can get?

I don't know where you are or know of that place mentioned but one I can recommend (which I learned from others on here) is the IBN Sina Foundation down in Clear Lake. All medical and dental services are about 75% off private practice and they treat you like a human rather then cattle.

They discriminate against no one.

Ibn Sina Foundation, Houston: High Quality Health Care at low prices

Good luck to you and may this 3rd world despicable American health care system rot in burning hell for eternity....as well as Nobama care.

Ibn Sina Foundation has a clinic in the southwest, at

11226 S. Wilcrest Dr.
Houston, TX 77099-4313
(281) 977-7462
Bus: Bellfort St @ Southwest Fwy

Also - don't click on the link to Ibn Sina. I think there's malware on their website. At least my PC warns me so.

Another clinic out your way is HOPE Clinic, at 7001 Corporate, Suite 200. It's at the corner of Corporate and Bellaire, just behind the bank. Absolutely fantastic physicians and staff. Nonprofit. They will charge you on a sliding fee scale. Most visits are $20 or less.

There's no such thing. That's like saying you want a free car insurance. Dosen't exist. You would have to go to places where they fix it cheaply. You can just go somewhere where they offer low cost medical services ( as mentioned above ). Maybe your College offers health insurance, too, or has its own clinic. It's cheaper. Ben Taub or any other public hospital if everything else fails.

i was going to recommend them^. also the san jose clinic might be one to look into. go to the one above since it's cheap and they can tell u what type of specialist u need to see. dont worry about the type of problem u have, medical professionals are not usually shocked or surprised to hear anything.

A&M dont you live in Alabama? You'd have to ask local people what type of clinics, low cost insurance is available out there. it is different in different states and in different regions in states. the only broad low cost health insurance is Medicaid (federal program). any houston advice would not be helpful

my thinking is the OP's problem was genital warts. interesting read
