I'm guessing the architect that got the job doesn't belong to these sites.

Its ugly..but in a cool, neon kind of way. The top gets an A, the bottom 90% get's an 1970s fail.

I used to think it was stupid looking but now I think it's pretty cool. Very different. It does seem to look like a transformer though or maybe a gobot

Oh get over it....the memorial tower emanates the character of Houston...building massive, one-of-a-kind structures wherever we want is what makes our city unique and great. If you don't like it move to some conformist place like Salt Lake City or Minneapolis.

Ironically, the US Bank Place in Minneapolis kind of resembles the building in Memorial city. Of course, it is downtown as opposed to miles away from it.
