Lawrence Marshall won't be clobbering big city prices!
Because it's closing down.
Lawrence Marshall in Hempstead Shuts Down

Long-time area car dealership, Lawrence Marshall in Hempstead, closed its doors Wednesday. There is no official word on why, but calls to the dealership confirm that it has gone out of business.

One thousand jobs and Hempstead's largest employer.

Well at least we won't have to listen to those stupid commercials with the "clobber line" anymore.

I remember those commercials since I was at least four years old. TV won't be the same without them.

You didn't mean Huntsville's biggest employer, did you?
Did you mean Hempstead's biggest employer?
I don't consider this good news for any of us.

Wow--that's pretty sad. They've been around a long time.

Lawrence Marshall Closed its Doors!
Wow, that is a surprise. I did hear that this afternoon on 740am as I was driving home from work. I've purchased 2 trucks from them over the past several years and this is really a shock to me. No more Ray Childress commercials .... very hard to believe. I remember when he played for the Oilers as a great defensive tackle. Are truck sales that bad that this dealership had to close..? What else is on the horizon...

They made a statement that they could only operate on selling in huge volume and that is how the dealership was set up.
