i lke to know if any body know where i can get some used 55 gallon steel drums,either free or cheap,in houston ,texas area.

Try Burbank Barrel & Drum on Clinton in Galena Park.
Word of warning: make sure the drums have been cleaned (not just triple rinsed) before you take possesion. They could end up being a big head-ache if you are not careful.
Also, at the current pricing of recycled metals, you will not get them for free.

thanks ,i be careful an make sure they are clean. i need one to burn limbs and brush at my land in uvalde ,tx.

In that case you can leave the traces of oil, gas, whatever was in them.

Here's the website for Burbank: Burbank Barrel & Drum
They are pretty reputable and you can buy new or used drums from them.
What you want to get is an open-head drum that way you do not have to cut the top off.

Free > Not free


And this guy is clearing land and not trying to create a pile of mulch. Plus the mulch machine he would need would probably be expensive. Burning it is the best solution to this.
