Really, Yetti? What did you buy? I always perk up when I see the latest couture trends. Come on, share with the class!

I bought a CC purse... and I buy clothes for my daughter at several designer shops in the Galleria and have them sent to the NYC stores so she can pick it up or have it delivered to her apartment. Often the Galleria will have great Paris Haute Couture that you can't find in the same labeled NYC stores.

You should shop at them especially during the sales. I always love sales and a great bargain on some great designs especially for my daughter.

Then I go to Target! my other fav french couture store. Get a few high fashion things and fill the rest with Target classic items. It's called a balance.

Speedy is also single and childless (and I think short 1 girlfriend right now) but he has found a great way to spend extra money and I have to say I agree with it. I'm a car freak too. Cars can be fun AND great investments. Not all cars depreciate once you drive them off the lot. I've got a few that actually went UP in value the minute I pulled off in them or should I say they got delivered to us and unloaded off the trailer.

This is true... there have been several internet news articles about cars you can purchase today that will be considered classics in the future.

Very true, cars are my weak spot (as I assume they are yours). I mean a Porsche Cayenne, BMW 3 Series, 2 (68 and 69?) Camaro's and that Suburban; you're on a roll Momof2DFW! Jeez all I have is my new Yukon Denali (which probably depreciated $10,000 after I drove it off the lot) and my '86 Porsche which is having a few engine troubles at the moment (and they ain't cheap to repair neither).

Gads, who cares? I can't believe this thread was even resurrected just for this post. Texas has some of the best shopping around, can we all agree on that? Does it really matter who has what? Most, if not all, originated elsewhere anyway!
