Trading Floor employment for IT workers in Houston

Hi

I'm a soon to be unemployed Wall Street IT worker, and was looking into the possibility of relocating to Houston. I know that there are a lot of trading floors in Houston. Can anyone give me some insight as to what the employment scene looks like for people like myself? I'd appreciate any insights from people who are currently doing this type of work in Houston.
