Is Houston a good or bad city to meet and date women for heterosexual males who don't drink or smoke, nor bar or club hop?

Default Quality

Well, rule number #1. Don't pick up people in clubs. Do you go to church or have a network of friends. I suggest going to quality events -- wine tastings, car shows, conventions, gym, bowling, house gatherings, etc. Good luck.

He can't go to wine tastings if he doesn't drink!

I'd suspect the best place to meet those kinds of women would be church, or maybe joining a Meetup group. You'll probably find some there. It shouldn't be too difficult to find non-smokers. It seems like smoking is going out of vogue these days.

...grocery stores, libraries, and even at your job, but be careful about the last one.

As a male of the same cut, women who do that are nonexistent or they don't leave their residences much.

You are looked at as if you are from another planet if you aren't a chain smoking drunkard.

Trust me. I have lived in the area all my life and most everyone I know has nothing better to do.

Women do exist of that caliber. I am a single nonsmoker, casual drinker (once a month Margarita), and the club scene is not my thing. I do agree that by cutting out some of these activities where does that leave your social life. I have the same dilemma all of my friends want to go to clubs and that not my thing….so I end up going out to eat (which is a slightly unapproachable area if your out with a group) or staying at home. Then the pool of people is so limited if you meet someone with these characteristics your chances of them being your type is also lowered.
