Default Searching outdoor wedding Ceremony

Hi,

We are planning our wedding in October in Houston and I would like to do my wedding ceremony outdoor. I already have my venue at a hotel but I need a location for the ceremony. It can be at a church, courtyard, park, or any place that permits outdoor ceremony. I'm searching in google but no luck.

Anybody has suggestion? Or had anyone had outdoor wedding ceremony in Houston?

Thanks!

The Japanese Gardens in Hermann Park might be a nice option.

Check out Vargo's restaurant 1 block north of the intersection of Westheimer @ Fondren. They have 13 acres outback on a lake/bayou and the grounds are stocked with Peacocks . Nice outdoor gazeebo perfect for a wedding. Me and my wife were married there ourselves. We had it in February, believe it or not, it went very well - that's what's great about tropical Houston! It's certainly not always that way but it was in the high 60s/low 70s at 8-9PM.

I was also married at Vargo's (back in 1994) and it is a beautiful place. However, it might not be what you want since you already have a venue for the reception.

I know the Houston Zoo holds weddings, if that's something you're interested in.

We had our wedding at Vargo's as well and had the reception at a Hotel in the Galleria area. Worked out great for us.

League City is known for their outdoor weddings with several venues. Helen's Garden is beautiful for that as is Butler's Courtyard.
