Default short term apartment lease?

Anyone have any information on finding a 1-BR or 2-BR apartment on a short-term basis (probably 2 months, maximum 3 months)? Ideally looking for an apartment in the NW (Willowbrook, Spring, etc)

Thanks!

Check out Eagle Crest apartments in Humble. Around 1025 a month and they will let you rent month to month. The place is a bit of a dump....but liveable for a month or two.

Most apartments I've looked at require at least a six month lease. You can go month to month after it expires, but then they jack up the price by 10-20%. You might be able to negotiate a 3 month lease at a higher rate at some apartments if there is a high vacancy rate.
