Default Where to go strawberry picking if you live in Katy?

If you live in Katy, where is the closest farm for pick-your-own strawberries? I checked pickyourown.org and there are only one at north and one at south, both around 1h 40min drive. Any farm closer?

I don't think there are any. I wish Dewberry Farms would grow some!

I have been told by all my neighbors here in Katy that King's Orchards up near Magnolia is THE place to go fruit picking. A bit of a hike but they all say it is awesome!

I took my 3year old daughter last year and she loved it. This is an amazing place. It is a drive but it is worth it. we plan to go again this year.
