He is saying that he has hardly seen any "dimes" on a regular basis.

I have noticed that compared to some of the other big cities, the most beautiful women in Houston are not to be seen on an everyday basis, maybe except for a few places.

It is almost like they are inside their homes most of the time and only come out during clubbing hours.

You do not see gorgeous women incidentally, except for extrememly rare occasions in Houston. They exist in Houston but lots of people stay indoors in this city.

Btw, in LA, not all the women are plastic and fake, lots of beautiful women there.

Maybe you guys just stay inside your homes because Houston has lots of hot women all over the city. Just a trip to Wal-Mart and I see lots of them.

Your measure of female hotness may be different than mine. But like you, yes I have seen hot women at Walmart but it depends on which Walmart you go to though.

Never said there were not any, just saying that they don't seem to be in great numbers in Houston like they are in other big cities. Maybe there are just as many but I understand what the OP was talking about. That's why we need more public transportation to bring out more people on the streets in this city.

People stay inside more so than in other big cities, that's what I am saying.

I have seen lots of pretty women in Houston btw.

I read this thread this morning and it's been hanging out in the back of my mind, and then something hit me and I thought I'd come back and share. ( Disclaimer: everything I say is going to be a broad generalization, and I understand that not every person will fall into the categories I mention ). Okay, so I'm from Texas and although I'm no Heidi Klum, I can turn a few heads, even now. But I'm married. I have kids. I don't go to clubs and bars. I'm a college educated woman who goes to dinner parties and barbecues and museums. I am a Texan. When I moved to SoCal, it amazed me that so many people my age were still living at their parents house, wasting their money on skanky clothes and pricey cocktails and $300 haircuts. Those droves of 'hotties' partying out in L.A.....they've got nothing but their hotness to hang on to. They don't want to get a good education and a good career and have a family and be members of a community. They wanna be stars or hook a sugar daddy, so they flaunt what they've got, and the guys who like that sort of thing can snack on that eye candy all night long. Girls who get what Houston or Dallas are all about, the smart ones with the education and the jobs who are also hot....they're not out there looking for you because they're already taken! My advice to you is to get to know some people at work so you can get invited to their dinner parties and barbecues. Find some lectures and some gallery openings and go there. Worthwhile hotties in Texas don't go to clubs and bars. Or as someone else said: you're "wookin pa nub in all da wong places"
