We have Mark's. Cafe Annie (little less), the restaurant at the Four Seasons (name escapes me), and a smathering of 300 dollars for 2 people type places.
But no, nothing like French Laundry.

Cafe Annie isn't quite as expensive, but the food is unique and I've never had a bad meal there.

No. There is no world class restaurant in Houston - there's one in San Antonio though... The best that you can do is Quattro.
