I like Alamo Drafthouse.
There's one at Hwy 6 and Westheimer and one in Katy.
Drinks and food while you watch a movie and the 18+ rule weeds out most of the young teens that want to just hang out and cause trouble.

Memorial City Mall theater
Studio Movie Grill at Town & Country
Alamo Draft House food is OK not super. But it has LOTS of choices from salads, pizza to gourmet burgers and sandwiches. Full bar with a pretty godd selection of beer and wine. Sodas and beer by the pitcher too. I think the menu is on their website.

Here's a PDF of their menu.
It's mostly the kind of food you would find at an arena, stadium, etc.
No gourmet meals or anything.

I didn't know you had to be tough to go to the AMC Dunvale. The crowd looks about the same as the crowd at Edwards Marquee. Maybe your referring to the parking because it can be tough finding a decent parking space there.

Lol...westhou you always seem a little oblivious. Didn't you know AMC Studio 30 is where the gangstas go? It's not that bad, but it's not that posh either.
