Yes, that was the brick choices for the new wall. We are having a bugger of a time getting the city permit to build. Somehow you all did, but they say wall interfere with utilities now. go figure.

Pretty much any tier 1 school is going to be exceptional. The difference between the top tier 1 school and the bottom tier 1 school is probably minimal.

With that said: I'm glad to see Klein Collins make it up into tier 1, joining Klein High as great schools for that area.

In HISD - there are so many magnets - it is hard to really say.

Just as an example in my neighborhood..

Kids that go to Oak Forest Elementary usually go to Hamilton for middle school and not Black Middle. (Hamilton is Vangaurd). I don't know about high school....

Why doesn't the Woodlands HS ever get into the ratings? I know it is a good school.

The criteria changes from year to year, so I believe the rankings by year aren't supposed to be compared.

Also if all of the magnet-only schools were removed, it would be higher in position.

AFAIK the group doesn't include Montgomery County in the Houston area for some odd reason.

They have a list of schools not included. I believe it's because Cypress Woods is too new.

The high schools in the Woodlands (The Woodlands HS and College Park HS) were not included because they did not have a freshmen class in 2004. The Woodlands High School has a separate 9th grade campus.

There is a table in this link that explains which schools were omitted and why:

Did the rankings for the elementary schools come out on Thurs as they said it would? I forgot to buy a paper yesterday.

If they did, could someone provide the link on here? Thank you.
