It is just tough being a new employee. Technically, according to HR policy, I'm not supposed to spend any vacation time until July. I'm sure they would bend the rules for a flu epidemic, but this isn't how I wanted to spend my first vacation days!

Cy-Fair ISD:
Horne Elementary-closed until May 18th
All school-related gatherings canceled
Yeager Elementary-closed until May 18th
All school-related gatherings canceled
Conroe ISD:
Glen Loch Elementary-closed until May 8th
Houston ISD:
Hamilton Middle School-reopened May 4th
Harvard Elementary- closed until further notice
Lyons Elementary- closed until further notice
Humble ISD:
Maplebrook Elementary closed until May 18th
Katy ISD:
Beckendorff Junior High-closed until May 11th
Klein ISD:
Kuehnle Elementary-closed until May 18th
Lamar Consolidated ISD:
Lamar Junior High-closed until May 8th
Bowie Elementary-closed until May 8th (warning to parents: it may close until the 18th)
Liberty ISD: All schools closed until May 6th
Pasadena ISD:
Matthys Elementary-closed until May 18th
Private Schools:
Episcopal High School (Bellaire)-closed until May 14th
St. Anne Catholic School-closed until May 6th

Yep...its almost time to start hearing about Paris Hilton or Lindsy Lohan having a catfight in a club or some 'excessive/disrespectful sports gesture'. Although I like the lysol smell of some airlines and the handwash germicides available at the airports.

Has the media been told not to report on this anymore? Seems the cases are spreading but less and less coverage is occuring.
