Hi ElNina!

Although, it's an old thread, your listings are still useful for those that are looking for appliances. It's certainly not a waste!

We bought last year's floor models and are really happy. The Galleria store has A LOT of options for open-box buys.

There is one or two Sears outlet stores that have new returned, open box, or scratch and dent units. I got a great deal at the one near Hobby Airport. I bought a top load high end washer, and medium end dryer there. You get the original warranty too. Super happy with the Maytag Bravos washer, and Kenmore dryer.

There was a store in Pearland that I bought a used set from and it turned out pretty good. Don't remember the name of the place but it was on the corner of Orange St. and Hwy 35 (Telephone Rd).

According to reviews, great for scratch/dent but pretty bad rep for repairs.

Thanks for looking up - I never had to have it repaired so I have no experience on that one. I just bought a stand alone washer and a dryer and also a stackable there.
