Could anyone estimate that time??

(I know it will be bad, but my husband would only be doing this commute twice a week.)

Thanks!

I 'd guess 45 minutes, give or take 15 depending on traffic/wrecks/construction.

From BW-8 and Gulf Frwy. and at 6:35 a.m. I usually get to downtown in 25 minutes (not in my parking garage - just downtown) unless there has been an accident or some detour on other freeways that is putting more people on Gulf Frwy. However - if I leave earlier it is about the same and later during the heaviest flow, it can go anywhere from 40 minutes to 1 hour.

So then add 10 minutes for Bay Area/El Camino Real to I-45, and another 10 minutes to I-45/Beltway 8. In the afternoon it will be a good 1 hour total.
